Box Inconsistencies
We order a large number of communion wafers, and with every order, it seems the boxes change. Sometimes it is the triangle boxes, other times they are the rectangle boxes. We much prefer the triangle boxes because not as many wafers break.
Not 50 in a box
They are good wafers and most arrived intact. However, there were only an average of 40 in the 5 boxes I have opened so far.* This is a 20% difference that has great implications if you are planning for a certain number of people. It also affects the overall cost. I spoke to a nice person in customer service when I called, but she didn’t have any helpful response. The company has not answered either of the emails I sent. *The packages direct from the company came in yellow and white pasteboard boxes. The wafers were in a firm plastic shell. Some I ordered off Amazon came in brown cardboard packaging like in this picture did have 50 wafers (2 smaller rolls of 25 each in cellophane). My assumption is that in updating packaging to a firm plastic case they changed the # of wafers but the label was not changed.
GF Communion Wafers Are Good
We have purchased gluten free wafers from Ener-G Foods for at least 18 years and they are as good today as they were when we first began purchasing them. Very trusted company. We highly recommend them.
A gift of love and faith
This is truly a treasure. My thanks, prayers and blessing for this gift offering Celiacs and individuals with gluten intolerance a means of receiving such a great gift.
