Ener-G White Rice Flour Beef with Sour Cream


1lblean ground round steak
1⁄4cupEner-G White Rice Flour (seasond with salt and black pepper)
2tbspVegetable Oil
1cupbeef broth
1⁄2tspthyme leaves
4ozsliced mushrooms and liquid (1 can)
1pkgfrozen green peas (10 oz)
1⁄2cupsour cream
4cuphot cooked rice


Remove bone and fat from steak. Cut meat into thin, narrow strips. Dredge in Ener-G White Rice Flour. Using large skillet quickly brown meat on all sides in hot oil. Add onions, broth, thyme and liquid from mushrooms. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms and peas. Cover and cook 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat but do not boil. Serve over hot fluffy rice. Garnish rice with pimiento, if desired.
