Ener-G White Rice Flour Beef with Sour Cream
|1||lb||lean ground round steak|
|1⁄4||cup||Ener-G White Rice Flour (seasond with salt and black pepper)|
|4||oz||sliced mushrooms and liquid (1 can)|
|1||pkg||frozen green peas (10 oz)|
|4||cup||hot cooked rice|
Remove bone and fat from steak. Cut meat into thin, narrow strips. Dredge in Ener-G White Rice Flour. Using large skillet quickly brown meat on all sides in hot oil. Add onions, broth, thyme and liquid from mushrooms. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms and peas. Cover and cook 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat but do not boil. Serve over hot fluffy rice. Garnish rice with pimiento, if desired.
