Ener-G Lasagna, Basic Lasagna


8eaEner-G White Rice Lasagna Noodles
1tbspVegetable Oil
1eaonion chopped
1eagreen pepper chopped
1cansliced mushrooms drained (4oz)
1 1⁄2lbextra lean ground beef
1cansliced olives (2oz can)
1eagarlic minced (minced)
2cantomato sauce, 15oz
1cupcottage cheese
1ozpkg of Cream Cheese (8oz)
1⁄2lbmozzarella cheese sliced


Cook Ener-G White Rice Lasagna noodles according to directions on package. In oil, sauté onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. Set aside. Cook ground beef until browned. Add above mixture plus olives, garlic and tomato sauce. Simmer 20 minutes. Mix thoroughly the cottage cheese and cream cheese. Set aside. Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Place half of the Ener-G gluten free lasagna noodles (4) in bottom of a lightly oiled, shallow baking dish (9" by 13"). Cover with half of the meat sauce, then all of the cheese mixture. Layer the rest of the Ener-G gluten free lasagna, top with the remaining meat sauce and end with a layer of Ener-G Mozzarella Cheese. Bake in a reheated 350 degree F oven, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
