Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

1tbspOlive oil
2cupfresh mushrooms (sliced)
1⁄2cupcarrots (julienned or chopped small)
1⁄2cupgreen onions (sliced)
1cupalmonds (slivered)
1⁄2cupOnion ( chopped)
2cupbrown rice (cooked)
1⁄4cupEner-G Rice Bran
1⁄4tspblack pepper
1⁄4tspthyme leaves

Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add mushrooms, carrots, onions and almonds, and cool until vegetables are tender crisp. Stir in rice, Ener-G Rice Bran, pepper, thyme leaves and 1/4 cup water. Cook until thoroughly heated.
