Rice Pilaf
| 1 | tbsp | Olive oil |
| 2 | cup | fresh mushrooms (sliced) |
| 1⁄2 | cup | carrots (julienned or chopped small) |
| 1⁄2 | cup | green onions (sliced) |
| 1 | cup | almonds (slivered) |
| 1⁄2 | cup | Onion ( chopped) |
| 2 | cup | brown rice (cooked) |
| 1⁄4 | cup | Ener-G Rice Bran |
| 1⁄4 | tsp | black pepper |
| 1⁄4 | tsp | thyme leaves |
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add mushrooms, carrots, onions and almonds, and cool until vegetables are tender crisp. Stir in rice, Ener-G Rice Bran, pepper, thyme leaves and 1/4 cup water. Cook until thoroughly heated.
