Ener-G Potato Flour Pie Shells

Ingredients

1tbspEner-G White Rice Flour
1tbspEner-G Pure Potato Flour
1⁄4tspsalt
4tbspShortening
10tbspice water

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix Ener-G White Rice Flour, Ener-G Potato Flour and all other ingredients together. Flatten dough with hands or roll-out to fit bottom of 9 inch pie shell. Press dough out in pan to fit. Trim edges making sure edges are not too thin. Prick center of crust with fork to prevent buckling. If baking pie filling in crust, bake the crust at 425 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes before filling. Then bake another 10 minutes at 400 degrees F. If not baking crust with filling, bake it for 12 to 15 minutes at 425 degrees F. and at 375 degrees for another 10 minutes.
