Ener-G Small Shells and Bean Soup

| 1 | ea | medium onion (chopped finely) |
| 1 | ea | celery stalk (finely chopped) |
| 1 | ea | garlic clove (minced) |
| 2 | tbsp | Olive oil |
| 1⁄8 | lb | cooked ham (chopped) |
| 2 | cup | water |
| 1⁄2 | cup | tomato sauce |
| 2 1⁄2 | cup | cooked small white beans |
| 1⁄4 | tsp | salt |
| 1⁄8 | tsp | Pepper |
| 1⁄4 | oz | thyme |
| 1 | tbsp | chopped parsley |
Cook Ener-G White Rice Small Shells according to directions on package. Saute onion, celery and garlic in oil until soft. Add ham and continue to saute for several minutes. Add remaining ingredients except for Ener-G Small shells and simmer approximately 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add Ener-G Small Shells and additional water if necessary. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve. Cooking Directions: Add 8 ounces (1/2 carton) Ener-G Small Shells to 2-3/4 quarts of rapidly boiling water to which 1 tablespoon salt (optional) has been added. Boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender, but still firm. Drain and rinse with warm water.
