Description

Gluten Free French Toast Creme Brulee Bake

Ingredients

1⁄2cupbutter (1 stick)
1cupbrown sugar
2pkgEner-G English Muffins (8 total)
4eaeggs
1 1⁄2cupmilk
1tspvanilla
4tbsppowdered sugar (for sprinkling)
2tbspcinnamon (for sprinkling)

Instructions

1. Melt butter in microwave until melted and add brown sugar. Mix thoroughly.
2. Pour butter/brown sugar mix into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Spread until even. If using larger pan size, make sure bottom is covered completely.
3. Beat eggs, milk, & vanilla
4. Lay single slices of Ener-G Foods English Muffins (cut in thirds) in pan.
5. Spoon 1/2 of egg mixture on bread layer.
6. Sprinkle some cinnamon over bread/eggs.
7. Add 2nd layer of sliced Ener-G Foods English Muffins.
8. Spoon on remaining egg mixture.
9. Cover & chill in fridge overnight.
10. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes (covered for the first 30 minutes).
11. Sprinkle with powdered sugar & cinnamon; use as much as desired.
12. Serve with warm maple syrup.

Notes

Preparation time does not include overnight setting required for the liquid to soak into the English muffins.
