Ener-G Egg Replacer Devil's Food Cake
|1 3⁄4||cup||granulated sugar|
|3||oz||unsweetened Baking Chocolate (melted)|
|1 1⁄4||tsp||baking soda|
|2||cup||all-purpose flour (plus 2 tbsp)|
|3||tbsp||Ener-G Egg Replacer|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (177 degrees C) Grease then line with waxed paper the bottoms of two 1-1/2 inch (3.8cm) deep, 8-inch (20cm) diameter cake pans. Mix the milk, shortening, sugar, salt and vanilla together. Pour melted chocolate in and mix until creamy. Sift Baking Soda, Baking Powder and All Purpose Flour together. Mix in chocolate mixture. In separate bowl beat Ener-G Egg Replacer and water together until foamy and then beat into flour mixture for 2 minutes (do not over beat). Immediately put into oven. Bake for 35 minutes or until cake tester inserted into center comes out clean. Let cool for 15 minutes before turning-out of pan. Let cool.
