Egg-Free Chocolate Custard Filling

Ingredients

1tbspunsweetened dutch cocoa
5tbspEner-G Egg Replacer (packed)
1⁄2cupsugar
1⁄4tspsalt (optional)
 ozvanilla (optional)
2cupmilk*

Instructions

Stir all dry ingredients together. Simmer the milk. Add vanilla to milk. While simmering, slowly stir in dry ingredients. Stir until smooth and thick. The filling will mound when done. Refrigerate until firm. Add Ener-G Egg Replacer. Stir until smooth. Add sugar and cook over medium-high burner. Stir until smooth and thick. The filling will mound when done.

Notes

*If you wish to avoid milk you can substitute 2 cups hot water and one tablespoon Ener-G Low Electrolyte Baking Powder . Add baking powder and Dutch cocoa to hot water and mix.
